What do you think makes your taste buds change?
The older I get, the more I can eat that I never could before. Now I LOVE some of the things I used to hate.
Any science to this? |
Yeh, you lose your sensitivity over time. I think that's what you would say. That's why older people can handle and also enjoy heat more.

Hormonal changes, your body wanting different nutrients.
I dunno. Just one of them things. When I was a baby/kid I used to love cheese apparently, then for years I hated it, now i've started to eat it again. I'm still fussy with it but I used to hate all cheese even pizza. then about 4 years ago I tried pizza and liked it so I started eating pizza and mozza on all sorts of food, but would still avoid any other cheese (that had flavour basically) because I still hated it. Now I can eat some other milder cheese but still not many, I guess in about another 10 years I will probably be eating all sorts and not even think about it. |
sly is right.
