94-yr-old woman busted
NOGALES, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a 94-year-old Mexican woman has been arrested for trying to smuggle almost 11 pounds of marijuana across the border into Arizona.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers say the woman from Nogales, Sonora, was attempting to cross the border Tuesday for a day of shopping. But an officer became suspicious and referred the woman for further inspection and authorities found 10 1/2 pounds of marijuana strapped to the woman's body from her torso to her legs. Authorities say the six bundles of seized marijuana had an estimated street value of $5,250. The elderly woman was not identified and was turned over to the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials. :1orglaugh :pimp |
I wonder if she's very ill or something. Seems like that would make sense. Try to run drugs in to the US, if you get caught, no problem you get free healthcare thanks to Uncle Sam!

10.5 pounds of weed = $5,250.00 street value?
Whoever wrote that bullshit must be smoking some of that weed themself. Could be why the first part says 11 pounds and the second part says 10.5 |
