Are you where you want to be?

How many of you have come into adult entertainment with a goal and actually reached it? I thought it'd be much easier to get sales than it actually is and to date, I've not earned nearly enough as I actually want through affiliate marketing.

If you have reached a reasonable goal, what was the factor that made that possible?

Thankfully my writing work is enough to cover everything I need but meh, I'd love to be have a network of blogs that could roll in enough cash to live happily without working too much.

Thoughts, opinions, etc.

My goal was to have all of my debt paid off by the time I get to 40... house, student loans, etc.. I am almost there on both accounts. So my 'goals' are still a couple of years away.

After that, my plan is to move to the west coast and enjoy the second half of life in a much better climate. I still have some things to get in place, as living costs and such are much more expensive out west. The girls here are much cheaper, so I have to get people in place to run stuff here.

So all in all, while not everything has gone according to plan. The plan is still very much on track for life goal that I had set out for the middle piece anyway. Once I get over 40, debt paid, and can move. Then will focus on new goals for the next 1/3/5/10 years.

I didn't knew where I want to be when I started. And I'm not sure where exactly I am now :)

My goal in this business was to make "extra" cash and increase my online marketing and media skills. My first site was usacamgirls.com back in 1999. I recruited girls from strip clubs to come to my apartment and do camshows. I had it set so when someone joined @ $1.99/min, the computer would make a moaning sound and the girls would run into the room to do shows lol.

My best month as an affiliate was 110 sales in 2007. The business has changed obviously. We shall see how the next few years play out as this industry tries to climb out of the whole it dug itself.

Ask me that now and I'd say no - ask me when Maxi is sitting on my face, and I'd have to say YES!

Yeah for sure but its important to set realistic goals.

When I first started it was to start making sales. Over time though you have to raise them up like some of mine have been send over 10k/day to sponsors, break past 5k/mo in revenue, have a single site larger then 100k/day, send over 25k/day to sponsors, break past 10k/mo in revenue, have 2 sites over 100k/day, hire someone to expand the effort and get 2x the work done, have my own affiliate program, etc.

You just gotta start small and keep setting good but realistic goals as you go along. All of those I have reached and set newer and higher goals to keep me focused and driven. My current set of goals would have seemed absolutely insane if I would have set them when I first started. I doubt I would have made it this far if I would have set an insane first goal either.
