Until he was at 40% of what he had comitted to, which ment we had to pull him or renegotiate as his "business" was costing us 1k to run pr month.

Yeah, when you get that big you think you run the place... Very few companies have the balls to drop him, he is the reason some content companies are still alive.

Anyway - debt collectors - it really makes no difference what country they are in. You can find them all over the world and $800 is more than enough for someone to bother him for you - even if you don't collect, 2-3 phone calls a day sucks.

This isn't the first time or the worst thing....

A taste of things to come would be MFP shutting down. The loss that would create across the Industry would be devastating. Entire hosting companies, several adult companies, and lots of people between would be out of business over night.

His would most likely have something to do with making shit up as his network is hurting.

As i said, he did with us as well until he fell under 40% of what this was geared towards.
When something like that happens you have to re evaluate the setup and in our case we just couldent keep things the same....was costing us money.
He was 100% unwilling to talk, got his feelings hurt and notified us that he wouldent pay the last bill.

Well... I do know he has held up entire content companies - some for years and often is the single reason why some companies buy so much bandwidth/servers.

The guy owns a free site that has paid leased feeds on it that paysites, that's nuts.. mixed with a huge amount of self hosted content and a mailing list that the biggest paysite companies could only dream of.

Sales wise... I'm sure our industry is packed with many bigger affiliates - sales can be replaced. Doing what he is doing, can't...

A void is an understatement, he alone could bankrupt entire companies.


And he still should pay... simply because of who he is, he needs to buck up and pay, nasty business reflects either way.
