INFO domains
 

How many link lists and TGPs ban them? I ran into a link lost the other day who will not accept info domains. Why would that be a rule?

I guess cause they're cheap and maybe they come and go faster than typical sites.

I could understand if the person who made the rule was dealing with an unknown webmaster, but even well known partners are excluded from submitting info domains to the link site in question.

.info is widely known to be an extension rampant with scammers given how cheap they are and being gtlds. I can only imagine that their apprehension with .info's is based on that and perhaps fear that linking to too many of them would get some sort of penalty from Google even if they're not scam sites.

Google sure doesn't have a problem with them :)
