How much do cam girls make per hour?
 

I will admit I am new to the cams game, not as an affiliate but as a site owner. I have been approached a bunch of times over the last year for cam site oppurtunities and I think I'm gonna make a site. I have some questions for you experienced cam site operators:

On average what does an cam girl make per hour? If they work a 4 hour shift how much would they usually walk away with?

Is a cam girls profit on the decline? Not the site owners profit but the payout of the indiviual cam girl? Are there more girls getting into the biz, if so is this pushing the profit for the average girl down?

I understand alot depends on the Girl and her ability to attract paying customers, I am just looking for general figures.

so any help on this would be appreciated!!

I agree wih alias and sometimes it could be more money. You see, many popular large web cam sites offer private cam shows where a user pays money by the minute. Usually the successful cam sites are set up like this: a user can chat with a woman in a public chatroom for free or for a vey low price. The web cam woman then tries to encourage people in the chat room to visit her private chat room. Users pay by the minute for the private chat (this is the 1 on 1 chat that is valued at a higher price). It really is possible that the user pays $1 or $2 per minute of the private web cam chat.

It depends on a lot of factors, such as traffic quality, models, new and returning members, cam site features, price, pay method, etc...

If you don't master the subject, think twice or learn first everything from A to Z before investing in opening a new cam site. It will eat a lot of money and consume a lot of time. Good luck.

Even Lots of Luck is needed, I have seen some Beautiful Silicon Girls who would sit for hours and wouldnt sell shit, they did so bad i had to fire them. And at the other side I have had Ugly and Fat Girls who get lots of Privates. You never know.

I have worked with many studios and it depends on so many factors....site ...eqipment..quality etc....the last studio I was working with had a target of 40 minutes per hr paid private shows (*note * using the best eqipment and trained girls)

Summary....$2 - $100 hr......not much help really ! but I can tell you one very important thing.....student girls and amateurs in 99 percent of cases will outsell and out perform playboy/glamour type models...many are surprised by that fact.

The biggest problem for site owners is finding enough traffic ....cam sites require huge traffic if the girls are to do well......or they leave to earn more some other place.

Getting started is hard as you need to have traffic and models at the same time ...many fail at this hurdle....personally my approach would be to pay a fixed income for the first month to a good set of girls as you build traffic.....others may have different ideas but that would be my way of doing it.

I have been long in the business and honestly the max. i have seen a Model do is about 2400 USD in one week (5 Days) and that translate to barely 60 USD per Hour.

yes thats correct ....Model Earnings = 40 minutes at $1.50 minute commission = 40 min hr x $1.50 = $60 an hr .....i went up to $100 because some girls have whales and higher priced shows ....so your figure of $60 hr for a good model is accurate.

Ours make about $40 per hour on slow days, $65 per hour on good days.

CM does Streamate Cams and makes between $75 and $120 an hour depending on the mood of the guys surfing cams that day.

girls on MyFreeCams are making MUCH more than 60 and 100 dollars an hour. I watched a girl with Rico from Panchodog do close to $1000, not coins, dollars, in about an hour. I believe the models cut on MFC is 60%.

i saw Bryci from Bryci.com on MFC earlier tonight - 450 guys in her chatroom. it's insane what that site has become.

Pretty sure those are one-off extremes though and the average is going to be a lot lower.

From what we see the girls here are making a lot less than the figures posted. Also cam studios are closing or cutting back.

Thinking of another thread about what porn girls charge to fuck in front of the camera and what is being quoted here as an average. Is it any wonder porn models charge so much when they can earn a good living just doing web cam?

If you seriously think most Cam Models would get in average 1000 USD thats crazy, that could have been 10 years ago.

I have had in LiveJasmin in the 69 awards in the last 4 periods the same Model getting twice 1st place and twice 2nd place, so you could say a Top model there and shes only making 1500 USD every 15 Days.

Also in Cams the most i have seen a model do was 2300 USD in one week. She got then the payout 680 USD Chargebacks :(.

Im MFC i have 50 Models Registered and only about 5 Connect or make any money.

So its not an average what your talking about

Cam girls, and how much they make, are a lot like strippers. Essentially they are just strippers with a webcam.

How much do strippers make? Depends on the girl, and how good she works the johns. Some strippers are not as hot as others, some are not as likeable.

But with Cam Girls, it is even a little more technical, because they have to know how to make the camera like them. They have to know their good angles, and how to pull the guys into the pay areas. They have to know how to keep them in the chat.

It is not as simple as guys flinging money to watch some bitch dragging her ass and flashing her titties with a blank stare. The best Cam Girls make hundreds, the lame ones make very little. It is not cut and dry. There are many variables in what makes a Cam Girl money, and the cam is the smallest part.

I would guess the average cam girl doesn't make a ton of money. But the ones that are driven and are either smoking hot, have personality in spades or fit a certain niche well probably do really well.

I think Cherrylula's stripper example is dead on. One night I went to a strip club with some friends. A dancer comes out and she is very hot, but she looks bored and acts like she could give a shit and doesn't get a lot of tips. When her songs are done she leaves and goes back to the dressing room. The next girl that comes out isn't as good looking, but she is a firecracker. Looks wise the first girl was a 9.5, the second girl is probably a solid 7.5, but she is fun, has a killer high energy routine and connects with the guys. The money was flying and guys were cheering and she was clearly having a good time with it. After her songs were done she made her rounds, thanked everyone and started doing private dances. She was booked on private dances until her next turn on stage. I would bet she made 10 times or more what the other girl made.

I would guess if you have the personality/looks and are willing to put in the hours, you can make some good money on live cams. Otherwise you might make the same amount as you would working at a regular job.

Lots of ways to increase earnings also inc investing in some decent fantasy uniforms ...nurse....maid ...stockings...boots ...all simple stuff that can add 20+ percent to your earnings.......and a real income booster is to use a high end remote control cam when possible that can pan ..tilt and most important zoom in ( thats a real winner )........

Just getting a $100 cam and going for it is fine...but time and investment in the above combined with good lighting etc makes a huge huge difference in earnings in most cases.

Example...next time you visit a cam model ask her if she can put on her cop uniform with handcuffs in private ....I bet you 85 percent say they dont have one !!!! ..... = lost $$$$$$.

The fact is that the average cam girl still does a lot more money than the average adult webmaster. But again, they are exposed as sluts forever. If they can afford that idea, then good for them.
