TONIGHT - UFC 113: Lyoto 'The Dragon' Machida vs Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua - What are your predictions?
 

Tonight is the rematch between Lyoto Machida and 'Shogun' Rua for the UFC light-heavyweight belt.

Up until their last showdown in UFC 104, Machida had never lost a single round let alone a fight. Shogun came damn near to winning the last time they fought. Many say that he did. Machida's face was all cut up and he had a number of broken ribs. I am betting the Dragon will keep his belt.

Josh Koscheck is also fighting British striker Paul Daley. These two guys hate each other. Daley started a thread somewhere having a photochop contest where people had to photochop Koscheck's hair. Also, Daley is all bent out of shape over some tweets Koscheck made about him. These guys belong here on GFY! I'm not betting on this one, but I'd love to see Koscheck win. If he does, he'll be next up to fight GSP for the belt.

Also on the card is Kevin Ferguson or as he is also know, Kimbo Slice! He's going up against ex-NFL football player Matt Mitrione 'Meathead'. I am betting on Kimbo!

Shogun by brutal knock out

i would like to see shogun win by knock out....what about the kimbo fight matt is such a whinning baby....i just hope its a better fight then when he fought huston alexander

Getting excited about tonights UFC, it's a great card.

Kimbo Vs. Meathead. I'll go with Kimbo, as Mitrione is an asshat, can't stand his "I'M A PSYCHO... I'm a nice guy... I'M A PSYCHO... I'm missunderstood..." routine that he done during TUF, so I hope Kimbo knocks him on his ass. Plus I'd like Kimbo to win as he seems to be putting his heart and soul into MMA.

Kos Vs. Daley is an easy call I think, if it goes to the ground Kos will win, if Kos tries to stand and bang... well, Daley will take his head clean off with that wicked left hook he has. Should be a good fight no matter what with all the shenanigans from both of them during the build up :winkwink:

I think Machida will actually bring it this time, something must have been up with him last time because that was not his normal form.

the only thing wrong with Machida the last time was that he faced a better fighter in Shogun. That's why he wasn't in his normal form.

koscheck is a great wrestler and wrestling is the king of all neutralizers ....

I think you just say him because you know him lol, I mean he even lost last time when Machida definitely seemed 'off'

If he wins again tonight, hopefully it is in a more convincing fashion.

I have a feeling tonight we're going to see the Lyoto Machida that knocked out Rashad Evans. Shogun is going to have his hands full.

I'm watching MMA Live on ESPN right now and they just came out with some news that Shogun may not be entering this fight at 100%. Something about his left knee injured at practice. I'm sure we'll be hearing more about this.

I'm liking my pick more by the minute. Go Machida!

Great move by Daley at the end of his fight. That saved it for me. Koscheck is a piece of shit with his fake "knee to the head" reaction.:1orglaugh

Rua is a tough motherfucker.... chutebox academy ... he prolly spars on a daily basis harder than he fought last night...

The boys from chutebox come in and train at wanderlei's with us all the time... it's not uncommon to have daily KO's multiple times... I remember before big nog fought his last fight with cain, nog was at the gym and got KTFO by a fucking 170er with headgear and 16's on....

when your KOing heavyweights with 16's and headgear your a hard hitting motherfucker... specally for sparring....

Kimbo must just be to old, that fight was sad.
