Should We Now Sh*t, or Get Off the Pot?
IMHO, this link of an "insider's" posting to the ICANN request for .xxx-related imput/comments before it closes on Monday, May 10th (and the below copy/paste of it) might reflect what many of here think and feel, and will hopefully NOW go to the ICANN site and identify ourselves as a member of the Adult Internet community and say that we strongly support the opinions in the following link (or say whatever YOU feel):
http://forum.icann.org/lists/icm-opt.../msg11648.html To add your comments NOW, go to "Add a Comment" at the bottom-center of this link http://www.icann.org/en/public-comme...options-report . Here's the copy/paste of http://forum.icann.org/lists/icm-opt.../msg11648.html -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <<< Chronological Index >>> <<< Thread Index >>> -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Adult Industry does NOT want the .xxx stld To: icm-options-report@xxxxxxxxx Subject: The Adult Industry does NOT want the .xxx stld From: Frederic <fred@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sun, 9 May 2010 17:26:56 -0400 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, I am a full time webmaster active in the adult industry. I run my own network of adult sites, I have been active in this industry for many years, I do business with other adult webmasters on a daily basis and I frequently visit the adult industry message boards (such as GFY, JBM, YNOT, NP,...). Suffice it to say that nowhere in the adult industry have I seen any kind of support for the proposed .xxx stld. Adult webmasters were against the .xxx stld in the past and they are still against it today! The ICM has fraudulently claimed that they have our support. This is not the case! The ICM has no support whatsoever in the adult industry! The posts/emails on this list have made this clear. There are lots of emails from adult webmasters who are against the .xxx stld, there are tons of anti-.xxx mails from religious groups,... The only pro-.xxx-stld mails are from a small group of registrars affiliated with the ICM. These registrars are obviously not part of the adult industry, so their emails can and should be ignored. No to the .xxx stld! sincerely, Fred -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <<< Chronological Index >>> <<< Thread Index >>> -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please add your comment NOW -- it's our last chance to sh*t or get off the pot ; IMHO. if we don't post, we have only ourselves to blame should we be sh*t on if ICANN approves the .xxx ICM matter. |
Hello, davecummings. I am wondering if you are related to Summer Cummings. Anyway, pot can be smoked and/or eaten. If you ate some pot, I suggest you now shit immediately.

Nobody on this board honestly cares. In fact, they will find a way to profit from it :thumbsup

This industry is incestuous and will always fuck itself over. Going to the boards, especially this one, is a lost cause. Anywhere where you can have idiots like fatoo posting in every thread is not a serious place for business. :2 cents: |

There's relatively few actually from the "stake-holder" and affected Adult Internet/Film Industry supporting the need to post opposition at http://forum.icann.org/lists/icm-options-report/ ---OUCH!!!!!!!!
I'm disappointed; I hope whatever kept folks from posting won't boomerang us into a stadium filled with sh*t in a few months:-(. |
I sent in email comments earlier today.

So ICM posted that they had comments/support from 240 adult industry members. :1orglaugh
Let's see how many people are actually involved in the adult industry??? :helpme I recognize a few of the names & they aren't from the adult industry :error - a registar/host - a know Russian spammer - a blackhat seo spammer I hope somebody at ICANN goes through ICM's supporters list with a fine tooth comb. :321GFY |
Wouldn't filters result in filtering traffic to "hardcore" porn seekers. How much of these would convert versus more "impulse" type surfers?

It's too late to post now:-((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((
