I have this amazing maid who goes the extra mile every time, on every single thing.
Today I walked in my room and there she was, sowing up a corner of my little pillow (the one I use to cover my eyes with). She was hired to clean, tidy up and do the laundry, so this is wayyyyyyyyy beyond her realm of responsibilities.

I've had several maids before, and never, I mean NEVER did one do something like that for me. This lady is great, and she's going home with a nice bonus today.

She was scattering seeds on your pillow?

i had a really great maid when I was in LA. had 3 here and all of them were slackers. the one in LA would go above and beyond to make sure the entire place was spotless while the ones here would say "do you want me to vacuum the whole place or just the main room?"

One of mine asked to borrow a ladder so she could do the blades of the ceiling fan in the den which is about 10' off the ground.

That is great to hear that people still have that sort of work ethic, that they go above and beyond. Seems rare these days. That was very nice of you to give her a bonus.
