Will online porn revive?

For sure we will!

The Flash player for the Android is here and Google TV is coming.

Saw some videos presentations and it all looks very promising.

For all of us it means more mediums to push our content, products and services into every Android powered hand held device and eventually many living rooms.

No more discriminating Apple anti porn policies and hopefully Adobe release soon some solution to poo out Flex to HTML5 apps to bang the Apple Gods on the forehead.

Not even to talk about the Google pads that will be introduced soon.

The best thing since some time and it makes me more and more motivated ...

What is this Google TV? Google was never a show of any kind. It was just a search engine. Does this mean Google TV will be a search engine to find TV shows?

google.com is a great search engine for finding out information. You could, for example, search for "google tv" on google.com.

:thumbsup

Emerging Television with the web, so this will be a new medium to reach your members/consumers

http://blogs.adobe.com/flashplatform...google_tv.html

"We are seeing widespread interest from our partners in the digital home space and we are working closely with them to include support for Flash. Today, consumers can experience rich Flash-based applications, content and user interfaces in televisions, set-top boxes, and Blu-ray players from Samsung, Vizio, Haier, BestBuy Insignia, and Tivo. Game consoles such as Nintendo Wii and Sony PlayStation 3 also feature Flash technology"

This will initiate new boundaries for us all, anyway i'm out, need to catch some sleep

"With support for Flash Player 10.1, Google TV customers have access to the full web. This includes the approximately 75% of online videos and web games that use Flash, the vast numbers of rich Internet applications, and content across social networks. Flash Player 10.1 will support hardware-accelerated video playback and deliver smooth, HD (1080p) quality video on Google TV devices. We're excited that having Flash Player 10.1 as a key part of Google TV will enable an additional screen for the more than 3 million Flash developers to create content for"

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't porn already available on all of those devices mentioned? My mobile sales seem to suggest it is.

nathan_madness 05-25-2010 12:13 AM

Yes it is but this tactical teaming between Google and Adobe will make the penetration and usage for sure much higher.

THis isn't going to take off at all. Geeks have been doing this for YEARS with windows media center, apple tv and boxee.

Normal people don't care about youtube on their TVs.

It will fail.

We will see what they will bring but I think it can be pretty successful at least if you only see who are joining this project.

raven1083 05-25-2010 04:27 AM

here's a friendly bump for you

Slappin Fish 05-25-2010 04:48 AM

I think this is all rather bad news for the little guy.

Anybody with a half decent idea can still make money on the net, even with a few static content pages.

Soon, without a whole team of developers that can build cross platform apps it will be completely out of reach, they'll be scewed. Shame :2 cents:

Free porn tubes on TV?

Free porn tubes on your mobile device?

The FREE internet slowly controlled by large corps, setting the stage for compartmentalized delivery?

Optimism?

Really?

Well, it's been announced what they will bring, and it is like what geeks have had for years, but not as good.

And the fact they are working with Sony and Logitech and they wheeled out the CEOs at a keynote is really not a reason to get excited.

I am assuming you don't have boxee/appletv/windows media center yourself?

mike134 05-25-2010 05:38 AM

i dont tihnk porn will ever die, but it will get more and more free, people will always want quality tho and pay for it

We will see, the other names teaming up for Google TV are not small players. The presentation looks very promising

Depends because also on these mediums can exists an affiliate model. This means also more work opportunities for developers.

The web is emerging and from a technological and economical point of view that's good.

You are right and it's not new. Also this industry will experience collaborations / grouping as in the airline business to survive and keep/enlarge their market share.

It will be an very interesting period, the battle between Apple vs Google/Adobe and the devices / mediums where we can't/can make money.
