Camz.com redirecting to CamWorld.com - WTF?
 

Why am I redirected to Camworld.com when I try to log into the affiliate area?

Why does my 'whitelabel' (if you can call a frame redirect that) redirect to Camworld.com?

Am I getting credit for this?

Did I miss a very important email or something?

Same here camz.(com) goes to camworld.(com) with a nats code.

PrivateCamz.com and CamWorld.com both use the same name servers so I'm guessing you are still getting credit. You can also see Camz.com redirects with a NATS code and PrivateCamz.com doesn't.

But when I try to log into the old affiliate area that I have bookmarked, it goes to the CamWorld.com front page. That should definitely redirect to the new affiliate area. Which I'm not sure they have since there is no 'Webmasters' link in the footer of CamWorld.com.

Then again, they may not be completely finished with the upgrade, although they should have at least sent an email about it to affiliates.

In this business the models are not the only ones getting fucked:winkwink:

what about the two new banners (fullscreenteen.com & nextdoorgfs.com) on the top of the amateurcamz page that shows the performers? how is credit tracked to those new sites? i don't remember seeing those before. i checked my spam folder and didn't see an email about that either.

With my white label, it gets redirected to CamWorld.com, but the only NATS code I see on the main index page is the link for Become a VIP. The Sign Up and Instant Access links do not have a NATS tracking code. If I'm interpreting this correctly, I'm only getting credit for VIP signups, but squat for signing up free members that later convert to paid members. Is this right? Anyone else seeing the same?

And I did not get any email notification from Camz of the changes. It's not in the spam folder either.

The same here. I got no notice about these changes. This is not nice at all!

The problem is when I go to my websites now I've gone from nice banners to different sized live video with audio blasting out my speakers, wth? I can handle it changing but the audio is a huge no-no I have to pull everything down now.

I just talked to camz about this ( as a cam model - as I too use the same links and hate the audio). I"m sure they will do something asap.

There has been word of Camz changing for months now, and the change only occured yesterday, and took them offline for shows for quite awhile. They are working out all the bugs and I am sure they will a full annoucement once they are fully ready.

The audio is coming off of the live stream with the next code push in an hour or so.

I knew they were but you can't just have blasting audio coming unannounced through you're promos

i wonder how quick the changes would have been coming if no one said anything about it. everyone bitches about paysite tour leaks but what about all the leaks from the member's area when using programs like this?

They just made the change yesterday, and this is a big project that has occured, There is bond to be glitches, let them work it out.

we obviously aren't talking about the same thing. a "glitch" is when a feature or link doesn't work. when ads show up it's not a glitch. that's called "i'll fuck you until you catch me and then i'll fix it".

they're in amateur camz, where your members watch the shows. do you get credit for any sales to the links from that page? if one of your members buys a private show do you get credit for that sale? if one of your members clicks on either one of the ads/banners at the top of that page and joins that site do you get credit? you might, i'm not sure.

It's been over a week since this thread was started. Despite several people saying they haven't received an email about the changes, CamZ still hasn't sent a follow-up to ensure that all their affiliates know about the changes. Questions posted here remain unanswered. Perhaps you missed mine, so I'll post them again.

Actually my issue was quickly taken care of and everything here is happy puffy clouds :)

And they did comment, it's a big transition and if there's an issue hit any of them up and it'll be taken care of (like mine was)
