Wordpress theme issue - can you fix?

My blog's theme seems to have a problem. Google found this when crawling it.

I noticed the other day that the links going to my archives all 404'd so I just eliminated the links, but it appears the problem is deeper than that. Anyone good at this or should I just change themes?

You can drop a line on ICQ 360-125-375.

have you recently changed your permalink structure?

DigitalTheory 06-02-2010 01:47 PM

Might be a plugin issue, have you activated any new plugins lately, or even updated to the newest version of wordpress 3.0 (there have been a lot of issues with it lately)

it could be many reasons. Most usual one is if you added a plugin, try enabling/disabling plugins until you find it. I can see you have a code issue in your theme (again, could have been added by the plugin). In the second page you posted you have this:

Code:

<h2> class="h2-simulate-h1-size">No posts found</h2>';
which shouldn't give you problems on regular html, but I've no idea what is the code you have there that rendered that. All in all, barring some minor fuckups in the code (like a couple lists that aren't closed properly and this title thing), I'm almost sure it's a plugin thing

I forgot: try changing your current theme to default and see what happens, that will give you an idea

Not sure where that came from either. Pretty much why I thought it was a theme issue. The plugins are used on other blogs without this issue, which is why I thought it was a theme issue.

well, impossible to know without seeing the code, but just a wild guess: try the theme change like I told you and also try disabling pagenavi plugin and see what happens

Guess your services don't work on yourself?

most likely the theme, the h2 code is opened, like harvey said would need to peek at the code to see more in depth the issue(s)
