WOW, that's fucking crazy stuff there. Ocean life is surely fucked forever, there's no cleaning that up.

they are reporting now it's worse than that, saying it's basically = to 3 valdez spills every week it gushes. so, we're what week 7 now, 21 valdez spills and still flowing.

That's just sad. :(

I want to understand a reason why a nuke is not exploded into the bottom like the russians did. But then it occurs to me we have a bitch president who can't fight the oil company.

See, if a nuke was dropped, it would collapse the spill but also stop billions of other wells. So what we do is bitch that oil is not stopping (teencat words blah, blah)

I'm hoping the seafloor just collapses and fixes itself, if that doesn't happen, I agree that a nuke probably is the only way, since the casing is gone (according to that guy and others) The oil is finding other pathways to the surface away from teh main hole.

I want to do something... I think I will. I have enough cash maybe I will go down to the gulf and start filming the oil. It's crazy... this shit won't stop with the obama nor BP. Just will keep pumping oil into the oceans :(

I read that the actual size of the hole is only 21" if that is true, than the leak is more than a leak. It's the start of a new government controlled disaster to shut down off shore oil drilling and raise the price of gas...to help pay for the war. Who cares about some shrimp fishermen and some birds... we have to pay for the war.

My brother inlaw is an engineer for an offshore drilling rig. Though Im sure hes not in the gulf... last I heard hes in nigeria or south africa or something. His "danger pay" on top of his reg salary is about $200k/yr.
