I'm thinking of buying this.

Actually, if I were you, I'd probably just buy the all new Xbox 360 version that came out, it's $299 without any games, BUT it has a 250Gb hard drive AND it comes with BUILT IN WI-FI which will save you $99 right there AND the best part about it is that with this version, it's got a nice sleek design with NEW vent/cooling system that's supposedly whisper quiet and much better than the old, so you shouldn't have to worry about the 3 rings of death :)

It's also kinect ready, which I'm sure everyone is gonna want when it comes out at the end of the year.

If you are looking for a deal, you can get an arcade system for $150, then use any old USB drive you have lying around for storage.

If you want to spend around $300 though, I would get the slim instead. I might get one even though I have an xbox just because it makes less noise. I'm waiting to hear from people how much less noise it really is though.

I still don't think that's much of a deal though because it's $150 for starters, BUT if the system is gonna be away from your router, you're gonna HAVE to buy the $99 wireless adaptor once you realize that, so really it's $250.
