First Genius will start, then it will sort music, then it wants to import videos/pics, then I need to sync it and make back ups and finally I will be able to upgrade to V4 :winkwink:

I wonder if battery life while multitasking will be as bad as when using backgrounder (jailbroken)?

Updated. Went from 5 pages to 1 with the folders. Much more organized.

folders and multi tasking are awesome.

I upgraded and see no difference. I have the 3G & not 3GS so am guessing that many of the "new" features are not compatible.

multitasking is available only with iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS.

waiting for the jailbreak to do it. it'll be released soon. it's the same code that they jailbroke 2 weeks ago so should be clear sailing.

Multitasking is actually a bit annoying.. I've been using 4 since GM was released, and ALL apps stay suspended basically, some of them are then broken once you relaunch them, and after about a day of using the phone, your task list has like 30 apps in it running in suspended mode... a bit annoying... gotta turn them all off one by one if you want to cleanup the list.

Its 0 hit on battery life though, so its done well... Its not really a huge enhancement though to be honest, apps launch a second faster, but whats the point if they do not actually ever RUN in the background?!

I tend to not see the point of this...

some time ago i lost safari from my iphone and whenever I backup after upgrading software it goes again. So i have had to go to factory restore, and manually add all my phone numbers and everything. what a fucking pain, and waste of a day.

Done for my ipod touch. Not much different for me except folders.

my wife asked me if i would get her one im still thinking about it lol

The new camera and the photo locations are awesomeeeeeeeee

just downloaded it and playing around with it now. Zoom is very cool and much easier to organize apps now :)

I changed my mind, I'm going to wait for iOS 7.

Took forever to download...I guess their servers were hammered.

the reason I want multitasking is when I run outdoors I listen to my music, use the runkeeper app & also sometimes want to take pictures then upload to facebook. Currently I can run music & runkeeper however If I goto camera mode it stops recording my run.

From what you are saying even with a new Iphone 4 it will suspend runkeeper not keep it running in the background right ?

I tried the iPhone with OS4 and did not like it... I sold it.

I now use the HTC HD2 (It is Windows-based - Which is a downfall), but...
It has a 4.3" touch screen (as iPhone)...
It has a 1GHz processor (which is the fastest on market and runs apps lightning fast!!)
It does multi-task (as the iPhone).
and has 16GB preinstalled memory...
and a 5-Megapixel camera!!

I just do not like the Windows-based software... But it is extremely fast!!

I'm lost, how do you make folders?

Matt, hold down an app and wait till it shacks, then drag it onto another app and it will make a folder.
