Lebron James & Wade make more money with Miami, possibly Bosh too!!!

Someone just pointed out the state income tax in Ohio and NY are pretty high while in Florida it is 0. These jive asses that are pretending like they walked away from 15 million each just to win really only walked away from about 3 million. When you consider how much James and Wade make in endorsements it actually saves them more than the 3 million by having it taxed at 0% instead. And it is getting so much attention 2 of the 3 (possibly Bosh too) will have their endorsement value go up.

I guess these aren't our conventional NBA dumb asses. I'm impressed.

Any sports star making millions and claiming taxes in a state that has an income tax is an idiot

New York sued some Yankees that tried to claim a different state as their residence.

I haven't been this eager to see what will happen since Michael Jordan got out there in his wheelchair. I hope this works out better.

Did New York win? Baseball season is what 7 months out of the year, half of that they are on the road so you are talking 3.5 months they are actually living in NY.

Actually there's been a number of legal battles over this and you must pay taxes in the state or country where you play. That's why no one wants to play for Canadian teams because its 50% no deductions. :winkwink:

Crazy. You live in a place for 3.5 or less months and they make you pay taxes there.

The key to being a good player is to increase your jumping height.
Even a 5 feet 10 inches player can dunk.

No worries as long as LA is healthy and we have D.Fish back we will put Lebron to sleep come finals time.

Players that are big (think Kobe, Lebron, Shaq) get a percentage of the money their jersey makes. Actually, anything with their number on it... Shot glass sets, bobble heads, etc... So Lebron is in a new market... I figure Miami alone will buy 300,000 jerseys by years end. The Lebron fans NOT connected with Cleveland will buy another 200,000 world wide... That's instant cash...

Gotta love it when a player switches sides...

It's all justification for going to a team with 2 other stars. At least we don't have to waste our time comparing LeBron to Jordan, Kobe, Magic, Russell, etc., none of those players planned an exile to a team with others in order to get to the finals.
