Youtube starts with streaming content better then 1080P quality

Set the quality to "original" if your connection & PC can handle such big streams in 4096 x 2304 pixels. Pretty sharp :thumbsup |

Anyway, these are from 4K digital cinema streams. If you have a $100,000 DLP projector in your house they could be worth something! :1orglaugh Looks like YouTube is trying to go viral on itself. |
like VGeorgie said, it's kinda pointless, doesn't look much different than 1920x1080 video to me....

With a 12Mbps dl speed the vid is jerky.

Someone on dial-up try it :winkwink:

i need to buffer 12 sec to get 1 secc :)

Both 4k cameras and projectors are quite expensive and therefore rarely used. Google already have a playlist created with 4k videos that YouTube has. That there are currently five. Watching that showcase files requires a high-speed Internet. A fast PC with powerful graphics card is not an unnecessary luxury for this super high-res format. The support for 4k video-based cinema streams are to follow a few days after the announcement of a YouTube service for the living room. This so-called "Lean Back" offers a more TV-oriented interface and remote control. It is now in the beta phase. |
Jeez, I cant get anything to run smoothly beyond 480p on there.

This is retarded... the video compression algorithm results in more quality loss than stepping down to 1080p... or even lower.
If you're going to watch crazy resolution videos is makes absolutely no sense to watch it compressed... |
