I love the United States.
I love the United States. I love everything about the place.
I bolded the last one, because it always stands out to me. Regardless of where I am, when I'm in the United States and someone finds out that I'm Canadian, they always seem happy to talk. What I usually hear is, "Oh I'd love to visit canada one day!". Not only does this make my inner Canadian happy, it makes me happy that we are seen in a good light. I only wish that more Canadians felt the same way I do about the United States. I also love the United States because I am fit, healthy, and have a pretty good looking body. My face may look like it was run over by a dump truck, but at least I have abs. When I was in North Carolina, on the beach, I felt like the biggest badass on the planet. In every direction was a fat man or a fat woman. Unlike other places, I could argue that I was the hottest piece of ass on that beach that day. http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/3986/fuckyean.gif |

Wow, I never knew there were so many positive things about Americans..

You are right, the US is a great place to visit, and the people in the south are genuinely hospitable.
|
Thank you man from the north, you seem polite and courteous. I don't care if it's fake, it's the thought that counts. Ahahahahahahahhahhahahahha.

And ryulion, you'd be shocked at how many people froth at the mouth with pure rage when they find out I like those dirty, horrible Americans. There is seriously a huge number of people, even here in friendly old Canada, who are anti-american to the point of advocating the mass murder of Americans. Yeah. edit: I should clarify, my "I don't care if it's fake, it's the thought that counts." is a prime example of how stereotypes can effect someone who is fond of something or someone. I've never felt anything other than welcome when in a Southern state, yet the whole "southerners are stupid and violent rednecks hurr" snuck in before I even realized it. I'm not going to edit my original post, as I think it proves a good point. Everyone was friendly, so it was clearly genuine. In the future, I will try harder to avoid stereotyping, or being swayed by stereotypical views. |
Get ready for the haters...many people hate the US on here but oddly enough they push US based sponsors and are on a US based message board lol

Never had any problems with my American brothers.... I've been lucky to visit about 10 times, plus dated a nice American girl in my younger days. Have always found them to be cool and friendly. I think the world has a bad opinion of the US for political reasons. Why you would judge the population of a whole country based on their polititions I will never understand.
|
yep for sure.
I will add... fantastic geography & huge biodiversity |

please join me in thanking the USA for the opportunity to spend a fair portion of my life earning money from porn :thumbsup :thumbsup |
You haven't been much in other countries, right? :)

I love the country, can't stand most of the residents.

I moved away. The land of the free aint so free anymore. Most of the people are self-indulgent pricks. TV and video games have almost destroyed the sense of family. If you think you have freedom, go try to take a pis on the side of the road.
Think you own your own property? Don't pay the taxes on it. Want to build a tree house for your kids? A neighbor calls the county and the building inspector makes you tear it down because you dont have a permit. You buy your wife an Escalade but she is unhappy because the neighbor got a new lexus suv. Your daughter's unhappy because her Iphone is "old" now, but you just bought it for her birthday in May. Your son is embarrassed to bring friends home to our measly 5800sft house because all his friends have big houses. On and on.... keep up with the Jones'? Fuck the Jones' !!! |

Try California
We have everything here, big cities, open ranges, mountains, snow year round, high deserts and low ones, oceans, sand dunes, record sized trees, agriculture( I think we have enough rice for Japan grown here) Porn Valley, Hollywood, medical Marijuana, the list goes on |

BTW, I didn't like California. The most impressive place I was in the USA is the old French town of New Orleans. |

Unfortunately I never been to Hawaii. Perhaps some day...

it was slightly disturbing at how open and willing to learn they were, yet didn't do it via any method of self-education |
