tsk tsk tsk ... i mean REALLY learning german or other EU languages ... translators suck balls big time coz they hose up grammar all the way

i tip my hat to ya :) most refuse to learn german since its a harsh sounding language with a lotta obstacles :thumbsup

I found german pretty easy at the time. Nothing else makes any sense to me though. I tried French and Spanish. Just doesn't sink in for me. French has too many pooveyvoos and shit, and Spanish is just too fast, I can't keep up with it.

German really seems to be a difficult language. Use google translator and translate a text from spanish to german, you won't understand anything. But translating that text into english language gives a good result.

So schwer kann unsere Sprache doch nicht sein...

Ich finde Deutsche schoen, ich habe es auch gelernt. Aber nuer EINFACH Deutsche, weil ich habe in ein Kindergarten gearbetiet!

Was stationed at Emery Kaserne in Wurzburg (formerly Adolf Hitler Kaserne, formerly Nord Karserne), but lived in a house in a little town called Uettingen. Went to Oktoberfest once in '88 or '89.... don't remember much other than being poured into a bus drunk. :)

i hear ya ... had french at school for six years and was pretty good at it then, but with no practise after school i lost almost all of it :( i was barely able to fix a price with the taxi drivers in brussels to take us (ex and me) to aachen back then in 2k :( french is really hard :error but german sux balls most haha :winkwink:
