First time getting wires? a tip.
For those of you that will be getting wires for the first time due to the crap happening with epass, here's a little tip to save you a possible problem and save Michael from some BS if wires are delayed, or not going into accounts etc.
I had this problem last year, when EVERY time I transfered money from paypal, received a wire from a client etc, they would not show up in my account for weeks sometimes. Some banks will have let the wire "chill" in their queue for a week or two, unless you have a note on your account to place all wires in your account when received. That should save a few of you some trouble hopefully. Sometimes you can also speed the wire up by calling the bank and have them trace it if at least 24 hours has passed since it was sent. if you know the senders name, and bank it's usually enough to let them find it and maybe pull it through the system faster. Enjoy your long weekend. |
Good tip but very weird. I get wires all the time and they go straight into my account. Maybe because its a business checking account.
|
Very strange, I never head that. Domestic wires appear in our account the same day. US to Canada appear the next day. If wires take longer than this you should complain to your bank.
|
where are you located? Cambodia?
|
That's weird. Bank of America credits me wires the second their regional wire room receives it and processes it.
The only program I have setup for regular wires is Bang Bros and their wire is usually sitting in my account by 2 PM on payout day. |
Yeah nor sure who you are or what you are talking about as in 10 years ive never done any of the stuff you speaking of. Maybe a sig telling people who you are before giving out advice may help.
WHERE DO THESE PEOPLE HATCH FROM ??? |
Ive never heard of anythign like this either. Wires arrive in a couple of hours for domestic, instantly if its same bank, and a day or two for foreign
|
what hes probably referring to is in some countries, if its a large sum of money, you have to go to the bank and sign papers stating what the money is for before its released to your account.
Nobody is "chilling" on your money. |

It's like this, amacontent has convinced himself that unless he has personally met someone at an industry event, that person doesn't really exist. To put it another way, he's not playing with a full deck. . |
wires have been working fine long before prepaid credit cards got invented
|
Tip may be helpful for many, but I never experienced that. My international wires always arrived like a clock work. Never had problem receiving them.
|
Rofl, wtf are you talking about. Wires have no "resting" place wtf. Haha, imagine if banks all over the world held your money "for weeks" before showing it in your account and making interest on it. Hahaha. That might be possible if you are dealing with hundred's of thousands of dollars of shady money, otherwise, you're talking gibberish.
