why not just get a dedicated tube script? importing tube dumps to WP is a right pain

True that. I am running a tube theme that works well when embedding videos from youtube and such but when it comes to placing sponsor hosted FLVs or my own hosted FLVs it's a real pain in the ass and time consuming.

Sure you can have them made for a price but most people are looking for the free ones.

I have those too, both tubex and tubeace with themes but I'm looking for some good WP ones now for some hand built SE work.

Sorry for that. Just moved the site to a new IP address, so have to wait till NS servers will update.

It doesn't matter how do these themes look (you prefer motley Christmas tree-like sites, I prefer the straight and clean design). The only thing which is really matter is SE traffic. Good synonymized descriptions is the key.

BTW, the CyberSEO Suite is able to work with ANY EXISTING WordPress tube theme, so you choose which one to use.

it is not as much of a pain to add videos too. There are plugins around for easy import of CSV files for these wordpress tubes. Get the dumps from sponsors, and import. As simple as that.

surfers (like me :)) are bored with regular wp tube designs think more like videoblog but not really tube...

what is the standard format for flv dumps? I mean really, how hard would it be to put together even a simple macro that would run through the list and post to wordpress for you? Hell, has no one done an actual wordpress plugin for the purpose yet?

mass importing lame videos wontmake your surfer happy, if you really want to make them happy, cut up the clips yourself, and show only quality vids, quality over quantity any day.

pfffft, if you want to make your surfers happy, upload full hq clips, **ahem** i mean have your users upload full quality clips...

Yes, it won't. But it will make the willing to pay for a paysite membership to watch the full length and high definition versions of those "mass importing lame videos". At least it works for me pretty good (for example, in the past pay period I had 1:570 signup ratio at Royal-Cash on tube traffic only) and you know... for some reason I don't want to make the surfer happy, I want him to PAY.
