Just an FYI - I'm not at CHC any longer

It's been about 3 weeks now.

I want to thank everyone I was doing deals with (there are many of you). It's been a crazy couple of years for me trying to find something semi-permanent. I should be announcing a new gig soon.

Chris

D-Money 10-07-2010 12:24 PM

tigermtb 10-07-2010 12:30 PM

You bounce so much its hard to keep track!

Wizzo 10-07-2010 12:31 PM

Good luck, I know it can be tough to find that right spot! :pimp

Sarah_Jayne 10-07-2010 12:53 PM

You'll find something. You are too well thought of not to find a real home. Just tough times right now and so it makes it extra hard.

Bryan G 10-07-2010 12:56 PM

Have you thought of looking outside the industry? Seems alot of people are doing that these days.

stephane76 10-07-2010 01:26 PM

Good luck to you Chris!

sweetums 10-07-2010 01:44 PM

ThumbLord 10-07-2010 03:56 PM

wow, as in WOW.
this is very surprising

NOT

Evil Chris 10-07-2010 07:14 PM

No, it's not too surprising actually. A lot of sales, marketing, and business development people have been moving around a lot in the past 18 months or so. In case you didn't notice.

Cold Hard Cash is fine. They let a few people go recently and are simply restructuring from the inside out. Their program and mobile setup are in fine shape and you should continue to use them.

I'm currently entertaining a couple prospects. Go Leafs Go. ;)

Sharky 10-07-2010 07:20 PM

Best of luck Chris. In this economy there is a lot of restructuring!

I know you will land somewhere soon!

RyuLion 10-07-2010 07:32 PM

I know you'll find something soon man. GL

TheSenator 10-07-2010 07:47 PM

Affiliate repping seems like a tough gig.

I hit my affiliate reps at weird hours in the middle of the night asking stupid questions.

pamon 10-07-2010 07:47 PM

Chc and the lawsuit pending on Lupe Fuentes might've affected payroll. Good luck

SykkBoy 10-07-2010 07:52 PM

ilovelupe converting 0:7000 probably didn't help either...

Kelli58 10-07-2010 07:54 PM

Ya the Little Lupe lawsuit was the first thing that came to mind.

Evil Chris 10-08-2010 07:42 AM

I wouldn't speculate that anything legal-related is the reason for their changes. Everyone seems to be making changes these days.

Sarah, thanks for the thumbs up.

Rochard 10-08-2010 08:58 AM

This is disappointing. I consider Chris one of the most stand up persons in the industry. He's very smart, and delivers as promised. This makes me wonder what's going on with CHC...

SiMpLe 10-08-2010 09:02 AM

Sometimes gigs just don't work out. I know several reps that have moved on for various reasons outside of sales numbers, etc. So it's not fair to wonder about the company unless you know why someone was let go and heard both sides of it.

There is another strong rep in the industry that this actually applies to (not gonna name names) and I can damn sure tell you the company they left isn't going anywhere.

Yup and sometimes it can take awhile to just find that right fit.

SleazyDream 10-08-2010 01:08 PM

chis is a stand up guy

Jimmy Sinclair 10-09-2010 05:57 AM

Chris, Sorry to hear the news. I would love to chat sometime, as I need to partner up with someone like you. My site is doing great, but I know I must hire/partner up with someone to get to the next level. Maybe us talking before this happened, was a blessing in disguise. Hope to talk soon,
Keep your head up,
Kisses,
