If you had a heart attack at your computer, would you...

Serious question.

I just thought about something as a stray beer burp became trapped in my duodenum.
You know, the ones that at first feel like a heart attack?

:1orglaugh

So I wondered, how many people are like me?

You know, how many of you would have felt a heart attack coming on
like that and would have closed all browser windows before calling 911?

:1orglaugh

Next, how many would close the browser because they "wouldn't want to be caught
dead surfing GFY"?

I bet half the people would post, "I think I am having a heart attack" rather than call 9-1-1. That would happen only on page two after 37 people had suggested he do it.

yup - I did that (not post here, but did fuck all about it).

Not knowing what a frikken heart attack is like, I woke up one early morning at 4am thinking, why the fck am I awake, but feeling a mild sensation in my chest.
Then it got worse and went to find something in the medicine cabinet - fuck knows what.

Ended up throwing everything on the floor from the cabinet and clutching my chest.

Went to call the emergency services and thought - no, sit down it will all get better. Didn't.

Took 1 paracetamol and 1 ibuprofen and 1 aspirin (bad combo!). Started easing off.

The *only* thing preventing me calling the ambulance was cos the wife was away on business and I was thinking "what the fuck do I do with the kids - I can't go wake up the neighbours"

Totally irrational!

Next day, head was clearer, went to the docs who sent me next door to the cardiac guy who measure everything and did bloods. Nothing. He said it was acid reflux which can mimic the symptoms of a heart attack. He assured me that even if it was the mildest of mildest heart attacks, the bloods would have shown it.

So, there you go - I wouldn't do anything :1orglaugh:error :Oh crap

never had acid reflux in my life, but don't want to again. And if *that* is a mild symptom of a heart attack, I don't want one of them either!

How many would start an donation thread to help pay the medical bills before the ambulance had arrived ?

What I wonder is how many people would post on twitter and facebook instead of calling 911.

How many RIP threads will be made before we hear any further details

I'd probably just have enough time to shit myself before I hit the floor. let alone enough time to close my browsers lol.
Maybe I should have a kill switch on the bottom of the seat of my chair, like a riding mower has. That shuts off my computer
