What really happened to epassporte?

Does anyone know? Why did SKNANB suddenly drop them. Are there any inside stories? Bonus points if you know why they aren't paying out. No smartass replies please, I'd like to have serious answers.

Klen 11-03-2010 12:14 PM

I wondering that too,SKNAB never gave explanation about it.Some people said how this is beacuse Malick spend wallet money, but that doesnt have sense since wallet money is stored with another bank.

Agent 488 11-03-2010 12:14 PM

Didn't they start their own bank? Where they kept all the funds in the wallet?

en. wikipedia. org / wiki / Dissolution_of_the_Netherlands_Antilles

that happened on the 10th of October... maybe new laws introduced about tax or something... another theory is that visa was notified of suspicious transactions (thousands of $ on some cards withdrawn per day) and did not want to be associated so they dropped the cards then without the cards epass is kind of pointless so they decided to close.

It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma.

Not being a smartass; just truthful.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist....And like that, poof...he's gone.

Dude or Dudess, if I could rep you, I would give you 1000 for that one!

Someone must know. But they aren't talking, else we would know already. Then there's all the legal actions which can take years to deal with. My guess is that it has something to do with regulations and that in a business where there's lot of fraud etc. going on you need to be really careful and they just weren't prepared to handle the situation enough well. Or who knows...

Only 11 mill of that is on the wallets but I'm sure there are many people that didn't add their amounts to that site.

Also if you look at the individual amounts some of them are obviously fake.

First we were told it was because visa was closed,
And wallet was fine, and wires could be issued
Then much later Visa worked again but direct with the bank not epass,
Now wires keep being said they will be sent but nothing really seems to be happening.

Sure visa was told by the issuing bank to pull the plug, but how did that affect wallet as it not the same bank?
What did the visa issuing back see and report to visa?
What happened at the wallet issuing bank, that red flagged the visa issuing bank to request visa put a hold on cards?

Other then a run around for now months has anyone really got their wires that they requested back in Sept and re-requested numbers of times?
The time it takes to reply to an email let alone 10 emails is about the same time as it takes to manually issue a wire to the verified wire information on an account.

I can see problems with numbers of people requesting wires for non-verified wire account but why also the verified corp accounts of sponsors that already have all the information on file?

Todate non of the above questions have even been started to be answered. Nor do I ever expect to really get an answer...

Maybe we will get our cash, maybe it will take a legal battle, maybe Santa is real.

"Deficiencies in VISA compliance" which says nothing was cited.

This is a case of the first party that talks gets sued ...

So, we may never know the real reason.
