Choopa = SUCKS, Spam me good hosts need a new dedi
 

Choopa has fucked me for the last time, they take forever on tickets, they half ass their work and frankly suck at everything they do. If your into having a host that fucks up your websites, does not fix them and has constant down time then Poopa is for you.

With that said, I need a cheap quad core dedicated server with cPanel. My most desired quality in a host would be fast and super smart system admins. I know you guys know, so tell me!

Choopa isn't really made for managed servers. They are made for super competitive prices for those who can/or have people to manage them for them.

i've got a couple of boxess with pacificrack, the techs are straight onto any problems and get it fixed quick. they've got decent prioces too.

phatservers(might be called amerinoc now) has amazing support and great servers...

no one with super smart admins will be cheap like your looking for.

Amerinoc have their own, well known and highly qualified staff onsite, 24/7, all day, everyday. They will move your site for you and regular support tickets are answered well within the 15-20 minute mark.

I'm very happy with choopa thought. They even patched up openads for me, did a recompile of the OS for increased speed. Did warn me that my raid card could fail soon, because they were monitoring it. Changed harddrives within 30 minutes and only 5 minutes downtime. Even installed scripts, and did database work for me! Couldn't be happier (for the money). Still no isprime thought, if you can afford that...

My tickets never stay unanswered for more than 10 minutes. For complex tickets, just escalate them to the system engineer on board with choopa. Manish can only handle the simple tickets.
