Anyone checked out the new Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit?
 

Burnout meets NFS:Hot Pursuit. I like! :thumbsup

I got the first NFS-HP when it came out for the PS1 and it was awesome then.
This one looks great.

I got HP1 and HP2 both for the PC. I'm glad they brought HP back. I was getting bored with the Underground/Pro Street stuff.

Sitting here on my desk waiting to be opened, but not sure if I want to play it or not.

Played the demo. A lot of fun! The original was ahead of its time. It's good to see this gem coming back. This would be really fun with a game chair that has a steering wheel and pedals.

Just saw it on Reviews on the Run the other day. I love Burnout Paradise so I might have to grab this one, too.

Its out now, was released yesterday.

I saw the demo released earlier in the year but it slipped my mind. Seeing it released and some of the reviews got me really liking the direction they took. I'm gonna pick it up on the weekend.

Just picked it up and played it about an hour. I'm disappointed to say the least. Seems rushed out the door to get it out before xmas or something. Theres no inside car view (most other nfs games had this), and its boring as hell. You are driving down the same tracks in progressively slower cars (yes, slower. You start off with a porsche and unlock SLOWER cars you dont even bother playing with). The CPU also cheats. I swear I had a crown victoria behind me going 300kph. There's not really any re-play value here. If you beat the first 10 races, theres no sense going any further because it's all just the same shit. I wish they'd make a good NFS like porsche unleased...that was a classic. You had a reason to play. You could play the factory driver mode, or career and buy parts to make your car better but without street racing in the night in a city.

Save your money, not worth buying imho...
