Need server. Goddamit

Hello

Need a server, do not need a high pimped out machine. Just a company that is responsible for her clients, and not slams me around with management fees as soon they see an option to sell.

I now pay 196 $ a month,

reason i have to leave my old host, technical issues came up, MYSQL seems to have problems. System uses all resources and throws up. I wanted to ask my host why this is, but they want to see managed fee first and not just 1 month, no 6 minimal. SO this technical issue will cost me a commitment of $180 dollars
I just hate to be pushed in a corner by a hosting company like this. I rather move to someone who is willing to give some extra service for his clients, and in return I pay the bills pretty much on time :)

Spamm me with very good offers please. Stop the technical impressions, keep it simple and in lamens terms

Nice chatting with you.

No offense, but you can't get angry at the hosting company because they're not willing to spend hours on an unmanaged server, trying to diagnose whatever the problem is.

Rather than getting a new server, you're best off to contract out to a server administrator for a few hours, and find out what the problem is. Assuming the hardware is working well, it's software that's installed on your server sucking up the resources, which has nothing to do with the hosting company.

OK OK

sounds fair what you say

let me reconsider talking to my host again!

Tjeezers 11-24-2010 03:22 AM

OK

Hosting company offered me out of herself to check this in and upgrade server where possible and do some checking. This is an awesome offer, and I am taking them up on it.

The managed fee i have issues with pure alone for the reason I never need management. But perhaps I underestimated this also, and I should consider adding a extra fee for management for my server budget!

thanks Kiopa for the enlightenment you gave in my thread
