They dont exist as far as I know.
But that would be a great idea, offer stickies for purchase.
Like a 7 day sticky for $10 or $20 or something like that, I would buy one :thumbsup

Fat Panda 10-03-2013 11:58 AM

mods its time to drop the hammer. the same problem nicks that ruined buy/sell are now clearly abusing the rules. time to ban these parasites!

$99 for a 7 day sticky sounds fair

Yes sounds fare because a $10-$20 7 days sticky will be too accessible and we will end up with first 2-3 pages being sticky threads. Its a good idea. This way ppl that need everyday bumps won't have to spam the forum.

I might sound fair but I don't think they would sell at that price.

Not if there were a Max of only 5 Stickies, that way you can base the fee on demand.
If there is too much demand at $20 then you raise the price, if there isn't enough demand at $99 then lower the price and so on...

Eric 10-03-2013 06:59 PM

Pinned threads in the Buy and Sell forum for a price? I will think on this one.

Fat Panda, and anyone else who sees rules violators, please email me with the thread URL.

You are making a good point but that would mean someone to supervise the demand for this posts. To check the demand and fix the price accordingly. This sounds like alot of work that could be spared with a higher priced sticky.Plus if it would only be 5 stickys, maybe i can afford to get all 5 of them for 6 months. What the other members will do then?
99$ is a fair price and at the same time not accessible for eveyone. They will be taken by people who actually conduct business here.I would hate to be the guy who spends 1000s on shooting content and than struggle to remain on top with my hard worked quality product. This is a raw idea i`m throwing here.Maybe someone else will come with a better solution.I see Eric already thinking about it.

Mike@Azzara 10-04-2013 07:45 AM

Finally! :thumbsup

I can 100 % agree with you. Now serious erotic bros can do serious job.

You have maybe guys selling good content or other high quality stuff and then someone is
selling domain like smellmyfart.com, tastemydick.com and are spamming with morning bump, afternoon bump, late evening bump, drinking coffe bump, and so on.
Thatīs extremely annoying. and all that to sell a 20 $ domain or something.

That really takes the edge of all serious offers and business.

So I can agree with you guys. Tighter rules is necessary

:thumbsup:thumbsup Hehehe! In that case I can give you like 50 names.
I have wide imagination. People often says that.

But to be honest, I would in that case love to see a different part under "Your Business Needs" called Domain buy/sales, or something. Just for domain hoarders. :pimp

Believe it or not, I guess farting is a big deal on clips4sale and the shit sells like hotcakes.. but i could never bring myself to ask a model to do that.. lol (nor would i want to)... and the taste my dick domain, shit, seriously that would actually make a good membership site with a theme around getting girls to taste a dick for the first time.. "Just try it! Just put it in your mouth for a second, please? I promise I won't cum.. and then BANG" lmfao! :upsidedow

Ya, I agree with that, it has been mentioned several times in this thread.. it would be beneficial for both the buyer and seller if there were subforums, and would help cut down on people feeling the need to bump if there were subforums like one for content sales, one for domain sales, one for traffic/seo sales, and then a misc forum for anything goes..

Yes that would solve many problems.
Domainers would be happy and everyone who hates domainers can stop complaining.

If domainers are such a problem then separate them from everyone else and give then their own section.

Problem solved.

To add, if there were 2 sections for the Buy and Sell forum, one for domainers and one for everyone else then you could have 2 set of paid stickies.

Domainers for the most part cant afford the proposed $99 for a sticky every week, but content providers can since they usually have bigger budgets.
So you can charge more in the regular Buy and Sell forum and less in the Domainer forum.
Since domainers are usually just individuals selling domains then $20 a week would most likely work better.
That way GFY makes money from everyone.

:thumbsup

Yes. I totally agree with you. Today when there are more people involved in erotic than ever ( both micro level and big level), and more people have to share a piece of the cake, yes that would be a great idea, and make everyone happy.

Doing a little bit of number crunching and a little guesstimating.

Assuming that these were the magic prices for stickies,
Domain Buy and Sell forum $20
Regular Buy and Sell forum $99

With 5 stickies per forum
Assuming they were sold out every week, all year round.

Revenue stream would be,
Domain Buy and Sell forum $100 a week = $5,200 a year
Regular Buy and Sell forum $495 a week = $25,740 a year
Total annual additional revenue for GFY = $30,940

Not bad
:thumbsup

That sounds like a cool extra income for GFY. I mean, with todays economic crisis where people can buy a pretty cool villa in Florida for like 80.000 $, itīs a pretty serious amount of additional revenue :2 cents: There are a lot of porno sites today that doesnīt do that income at annual level.

Presupposes 100% sell-out, nevertheless I think stickies would sell well especially if there were separate categories for domains/sites, content, links/blog posts, etc.

And I think it would make Buy/Sell more targeted for buyers to immediately select the category they're looking for or even just for browsing.

Matyko 10-07-2013 01:36 AM

fucking finally!!! :pimp

brassmonkey 10-10-2013 09:48 AM

wow that good news for buyers.

Mike@Azzara 10-12-2013 05:28 PM

Confusing

Quote:

3)One thread per week per company or user. You have a bunch of things to sell, make one post about it, or wait till next week to sell your next item.

4) One thread per month per company or user for similar items. You may make one thread per month selling domains, content sets, blog posts, hardlinks, etc. Violation of this rule will result in the removal of all threads.

To be honest. Aftre have read more, I find 3 and 4 confusing.

Seems like 1 rule in number 3 which is terminated by the rule in number 4.

Som what is similar items. If you sell some MIlf content, is it similar to fetish content or ten content. In that case all model content from teen to mummy kind of old grannys or fetish is still similar.

Also selling domains, content sets. I mean, domains and content sets is two totally differnet things. Like an Aston Martin vs redneck drinking moonshine. No similarity at all.

Can some porno Bro explain a little bit better. :thumbsup
I rarely become confused, but now I am.

Naughty-Pages 10-15-2013 09:49 PM

Noticing quite a few "New" members since the new rules were put in place with 1 or 2 posts posting domains for sale, etc.. posting multiple topics and bumping..

betting at least a few of them have ip addresses shared by other gfy accounts.. lol

Once thing a lot of other forums have is not allowing members to create a new topic in buy and sell until they reach X number of posts.. not a huge fan of that though because while it may weed out a small percentage of abusers, it may discourage other potentially good users...

Fat Panda 10-16-2013 09:09 AM

Eric its time to appoint a Buy/Sell specific moderator.

All the same spamming maggots are violating the rules daily. Its time to delete their threads and if they continue BAN them.

Hehe! Did notice the same thing. Some "new" members who did som reply to some old sales.:thumbsup Maybe people are deperate for selling. Who knows.

One thing though, I miss the static no limit EDIT possibility in threads.
If you did some offers and maybe after a few days you wanna change some info. itīs impossible, so you have to make a new reply, which can maybe be treated as a bumping.
I had to do that today, put some new info in a sale which is important. So I had to reply to myself. So even if I wasnīt among the top 10 threads it would be nice if we had option to edit whenever we want inside the original thread. What do you think?

By the way! Did you register that tastemydick.com domain name idea? Saw a few days ago that someone did that. Like a few days after I wrote it here.

I have been warning most people, but then i sometimes miss a day and do not warn some of the offenders i missed because doing so would just bump their threads for them... I've just been warning posts that are towards the top so the warning isn't actually a benefit to them..

One thing that ticks me off is this guys thread in the wrong forum:
https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1104328

I sent Eric an ICQ on the 6th about it.. but I haven't seen him on ICQ in forever..

I think most people would think that's ok... i.e.: when i sell domains from a thread i post which ones were sold and a fresh list...

or for L1NKS if there are a limited number of spots, i'll reply with how many are left..

But then you get people like this guy who most likely is not selling anything and talks to himself... using that loophole as a bumping technique

I think part of the reason for not being allowed to edit the posts after X # of minutes is for shady sellers who might change the terms of their original post (or in other forums change their post for other nefarious reasons).

I haven't been warning most content posters.. because I am on the fence with them.. many have numerous topics going, and post "updates" with sample images.. it's borderline.. so I haven't said anything because I just wasn't sure.. lol

marlboroack 10-16-2013 11:42 AM

I'm actually in the process of making "a" content thread...the only "thing" about it will be, when i add a new girl or package...the first thing people will see in it...of course, will be an older package, or older set of a model, and not the "new" thing I am wanting to promote or sell.

Makes it "slightly" tougher to play fair and keep within the rules...
But, I have a couple of thoughts on how I can make it work fairly.
;-)

The problem with editing titles and posts after the allotted time is there are a shit-ton of scammers out there who would change their original terms after making a deal..

sad that it has to be that way, but the scammers are out of control...

if that is the case then their should be a way in which a user can apply for his/her thread to be edited. This is because I currently I have a thread with the title of domain that I ve already sold, n I would like to change the title to a more generalize title.
Thanks.

That would be a complete nightmare for the mods... I just cannot see that happening.

Just keep in mind what you choose for your topic title when you post it if you think you are going to add to it later... then there will be no issue...

A title change should be allowed atleast once in a month. If changing a title will be impossible, then closing a thread should be allowed. On namepros.com each user is allowed to run 3 threads only at any given time, so users can close a thread to start a new one..
Here you can't change your title, neither can you close or delete your thread, and you can't create more than 1 thread? Wow

PornDiscounts-V 12-03-2013 01:18 PM

Just means you have to get more creative with your titles.

demedia 12-17-2013 08:58 PM

Hi, I just bumped my thread and it was removed. I thought it would be a good idea to add some pictures to the thread to see if I get better response. I guess I should have done that when I posted the original post. It was close to a month ago, but not sure about the date. So, this was my mistake!

Now that it is removed, when can I post an other thread? I don't remember the exact date of my original post.

I want to make sure I am playing by the rules.

Can you please advise

Thanks!
