#2- the sticky you are attempting to bump is, in part, about being banned for bumping shit.

It is the rules thread. You can put your site's link in your signature so affiliates can join and promote your site. Bump is to move a topic to the top of the board/forum with a reply. Ignore trolls, meaning do not reply to them and you should be fine.
