Advice On Selling Sites?
Hi All,
I'm hoping some of the more experienced among you might be kind enough offer me some advice, suggestions, and feedback since it's smarter to learn from experts than groping in the dark. Some background in case that may (?) help clarify your suggestions: I have three nasty, niche Gay membership sites that evolved around blogs. They're all Bareback sex focused. The main one is a year old and is the one I've invested most of my time in and have had the most success with. My idea of "success" is pretty modest: I've only just crossed the 500,000 views mark, have about 2300 members, and have never made more than $500 in a month, mostly through a combination of premium memberships and donations. The second site, which is the oldest, has only 1200 members. It's about Anonymous bareback sex. The newest site has fewer than 500 members. It's about Bareback sex with POZ men and seems to attract the freakiest fuckers of all. I've made no real effort to monetize these two but had planned to build them up more actively in the future. I'm now seriously considering selling these other two sites since my main site is so time consuming and I could use the money. My strength is writing strong unique content that motivates members; while I'm decidedly not great at the technical webmaster aspects. Rather, I've done well but it's far too time consuming and a painfully slow learning process. That's where your sage advice comes in. Forgive me for being naive/novice here but when I started all I knew was what I learned from Blogging For Dummies a year ago! ...
I don't know if it's appropriate to post the site addresses here? If you want to know, feel free to ask me. Either way, any other thoughts, suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help! |
