Domains Sedo Domain Pricer Tool - Thoughts??

I'm going thru my list of dormant domains getting ready to try and sell them to someone who will utilize them better... Involved in some new stuff that's taking all of my time lately...

Was just at Sedo.com and was playing around with their "Pricing Tool"

I know domains sometimes are like artwork or antiques. The asking price seems to involve the emotion of what an individual might think it's worth...

Wondering what others think of using the Sedo tool as a starting point for selling price of a domain....

Doesn't SEDO charge a percentage fee from the total sales price?

If so, then it's in their best interest to keep the prices high and thus any recommendation to the seller would lean toward the more expensive side.

It also have a lot to do with how long you are prepared to wait. If in no hurry to sale and prepared to really hold out, sure then bring up the price and wait for the right buyer. Else, in today's market, you'll have to price attractively - especially since there are so many new domains already and even more coming out!
