423372439 His name on icq was Mike Geal.

He's selling links on sites and actually puts the links up (more than likely he swindles the owner of the website to put the links up in some way or other). But in short order the links go away and he then ignores you. Of course, like Rule (who he probably is) he does have the balls to hit you up again and try to sell you more links.

Yup, Mike Geal is in fact a scammer..scammed me once too. Here is another suggestion:

4. Google the users ICQ number..see their ICQ comes up from any of the forums. Do a little investigative work on your own. Google their ICQ, if it comes up in a forum somewhere maybe go another step and try googling their forum username..etc. At least get an idea of other business they may have done on the web and whether it was good or someone else is claiming they are a scammer.

whats the point of taking the links down once you post them? I try to deal with site owners not brokers so if there is ever a problem you can get ahold of me
