Well from my experience dropped domains tend to be shit for SE traffic.
In the case of just18.org the site was spammed by the former owners and abused. I can not get it indexed by Bing they wont even look at it because some Child Abuse group has it on a ban list. This is being fixed now that I have the domain but its been a real pain in the fucking ass... I got it up and running with Google now but that alone took 2 weeks practically. Domains that drop lose PR really quick. So be careful. |

Ah, great points, didn't think about the negatives. I think I'll reevaluate this technique.
