Is my domain worth anything?

I own the domain name NakedCovergirls.com and the other day I did a quick Google search for Naked Covergirls and noticed that it was already #2 on Google for that search. I haven't done much with the site, but it got me wondering.

I understand that searching for a specific domain will bring up the .com right away. But I'm curious if the fact that this particular domain name by virtue of it having common search terms in its names adds any significant value to it.

I'm not really looking to sell it, but I'm just curious more than anything.

Im a newb but I think it's a good name.

You could push top pornstars on the site or maybe celeb stuff if you can find it even maybe a vod site or mrskin type of promotion if you are an affiliate. Naked, Cover and Girl are all dictionary words which are good. The name is kind of long but the words roll off the tongue and easy to remember.

Again, I'm brand new to the adult web biz, but I have been working as a web designer for an art studio for 7 years and I think its got potential. Let's hope the big dogs feel the same way!

Good Luck

Worthless

you rank for your own domain name, it's pretty easy for domains like this and you don't have to do anything at all (google>"Naked Covergirls" >ONLY 2k results... that's nothing)... that therm brings no traffic.

Keyword : naked covergirls > no considerable searches.
Keyword : naked girls > 62,230 searches and girls naked > 4,075 searches
Keyword : cover girls > 27

You need to choose the right keywords and optimize your website and go for off-site seo after that.. You need to work to get something you wish.

According to me.. Nothing on this earth is "worthless" we only make it something and we only make it nothing. lol Even shit is not worthless..and its a domain.. ;p

Cheers man!! good luck!!

If you try to build up return traffic I think the domain is good, easy to remember, if you try to make $ with SE traffic, sell it

God people preach a lot of shit around here that is so fucking stupid.

Here is the deal Domains are like realestate. they are only worth what someone is willing to pay.

if you are trying to get into the doamin game of buying and selling you are a bit late. yes you can make money that way. but its a lot harder now.

if you bought the domain to develop its a great domain. the thing then comes to comes down to can you afford to shoot the content the way that it should be to match the domain.

Lots to do for it but it can be done.

i am agree with u, but u should keep in mind that not all apeople are here have enough bucks to shoot or buy content., majority people here are just affiliates/webmasters.

so i guess he is asking about bringing traffic in by starting some tgp or tube/blog.

Thank you everyone for your input.

As I said before, I am not really looking to sell it. I was just curious.

I do intend to develop the site, however it's on the back burner per some other projects I'm working on at the moment.

Again, thanks for the information. I appreciate it.
