Need advice for hosting solution - GoFuckYourself.com

Hi everyone,
This is my first post here, and I would like to say "thank you" for this forum. I found a lot of useful information.

I am searching a webhost for a future website, with one explicit video and some static pages.

To begin, here is some details about the video. It will be already encoded in 1080 (there will be no conversion on the server). The size of the video will be around 135 MB (perhaps less).
Visitors can download the video or watch it directly via a player on the site and we are planning to have around 5000 views / day (best case scenario).

So, I investigate before to come at you, and it looks like I need a dedicated server with a high bandwidth. So 10 TB or unmetered bandwidth will be good enough.
Too bad I can?t host explicit content on youtube, it would have saved me a lot of bandwidth and money.
And when I do some research about CDN, it will cost me a lot at the end.

About the hardware configuration, I don?t need a lot of diskpace, but about the memory, I don?t know how many I need (1 GB? 2GB? more ?).

So I would like to know what are the best options for me, which webhost would you recommend me ? (I prefer a managed server with a control panel for 120$ maxi if possible).

amerinoc is what you are looking for. See my sig. Been with them for more than 4 years and counting and had no problem with them so far.
PS: the tech support is simple the best.

Either way you look at it you're going to have problems.

At 5,000 views a day, assuming every visitor loads the entire 135mb file, a CDN will cost you around $35 a day. If you purchase a large amount of bandwidth up front you can get that price down, but you'd have to drop a couple grand to save money.

On a dedicated server, you're going to have issues with slow load times. Network storage is slow, and when you have a ton of people trying to load the file all at once it's going to cause issues.

If you're making decent money off it I'd consider trying out a CDN at first. Or, you could consider a Cloud server solution that bills you by the hour and bandwidth, but that would probably be more than just using a CDN.

Other than that, consider adult hosts like VideoBam.

Regarding YouTube, I don't advise uploading explicit content and breaking any rules, but in theory, you could upload the explicit file, set the privacy to "Unlisted" and then embed on your site. Your chances of it being removed/flagged will be much less, and if it does you could consider re-uploading it, or having another one ready on another account to replace the one that got removed.

keysync and mamaliga : I read that Amerinoc has a very good reputation. Maybe I can go up to 150$ per month. I have to check all of the avaiable options before I make my move. But I will contact them for further informations.

chucklesnorris : The problem with CDN will be the price at first... It's true if I have decent money, I will seriously think about this solution.
About youtube now, if there is a slight possibility that someone flag the video and shut it down, then I prefer not to take the risk.
For VideoBam, I have never heard of them, I will investigate.

$150/month will not get you 5,000 views a day for a 135mb streamed file. Your site will either go offline or most won't be able to stream the file/it will take absolutely forever to load.
