Link Trades
Lets say my .com domain is redirected to another site- In this case a clips4sale store.
When I find place that are offering trades and requesting me to send them traffic, how do I go about doing so and is it a requirement? Also, could I set up an area on a tumblr account where I place these links and still get traffic sent to my original .com?

Take a look at their linking rules. They should have a page where they explain how they want you to link to them. Maybe they want you to link to a specific page. Maybe they want you to use specific text in your link. Good luck.
tumblr.com is a feature rich and free blog hosting platform offering professional and fully customizable templates, bookmarklets, photos, mobile apps, social networks and more. Where should they receive traffic from? Good question. Usually, they ask for your domain like site.com. Usually, they do not count traffic coming from any other domain.
