I posted a similar thread a while ago in another section of the website. I'm gonna try to be a little more clear about what I am looking for. BTW I live in Chatsworth, CA.

I recently sold my business for a good chunk of money, I have always have an interest in the Adult Business but could never find enough time to dedicate myself to it. I am not fully on board and really to go.

First off, I have decided to hit a specific niche, does that make sense? Anyway, I want to produce my own movies which star Indian Actors only. I want the hit the Indian community with fresh content. I have a camera crew in place, I have locations, all I need now is Indian Female and Male actors. Is there anything else I need?

I am planning on creating a lot of content, I want to sell my content to distributers and websites, how would i do so? Also, is it a good idea to make a nice website which I put all my content on and how would I make money off that?

My biggest issue is finding INDIAN models, how would I go about doing that?

I know all you webmasters are probably sick if answering the same questions over and over again but I would really appreciate your help!

Indian niche is very hard to run and more difficult to take money out from Indian surfer as they always looking for free and test before they pay. So you need to think how much money you need to spend and how you recover it.

Content you want to shoot is little tricky. Not much indian girls are available who comes naked in front of camera. If you go with old face like Sunny Leone or Priya Rai i think you will struggle to recover you money.

You need to be in India to get good content and vareity of girls. But shooting porn in india is illegal so you have to be very ceraful.

Get new face and idea is to shoot amateur not professional. Indian male is very easy to find but Indian female for a website is very very hard task brother.

@dpapa - I agree with you, Indian niche is quite difficult but I know it can be done, just like anything else! As for shooting amateur, that was my plan, professional is boring.. Also, finding the Indian girls is so difficult, especially in LA, all the Indian girls come from proper civilized families and they are usually too shy to do so.

Can you help me with a few questions I asked in my original post?

1. If I were to successfully make my first video, how do I sell it to websites, or vendors, or anything? What is the best way to make money from these

2. Do I need legal release forms for the actors before I produce?

3. When Im promoting my "Production Company" do I need to promote it as an entertainment, Modeling, company? For legal purposes

4. Lastly, Would I be better off making videos of normal Caucasian, Latino, black people?

Hey. First, be patient. This forum is not as heavily trafficked as the main forum. If you want quicker answers, post the questions in the main forum. BUT, you will also have to put up with the trolls.

What you are talking about doing is becoming a content producer. You might want to look around at what some of the other content producers do. Some set up content stores, some just sell through threads. Since I am NOT a content producer I do not know what approaches work best.

Most people in this business do NOT produce and sell their own content. They either buy content from producers or use content provided by sponsors (who may be producing their own or may be buying it) so the people who know the answers to your questions are a much smaller part of the community than you might think.

Some content producers I know of that you might want to do a search of the board on so you can check what they are doing:

Ma Dalton
Vooddoocontent (user sinclair)
Adendreams
DeanCapture
Naughty Rob

There are a lot others too. These are ones I thought of off the top of my head because I have either bought from them or spoken with them.

what kind of movie are you planning to make? Short movies/clips or a long movie (over 1h)?
If you are planning to make short movies a online content store is a nice way to sell them and if you take pictures while making the video's you can sell those to in that content store.

Long movies for dvd or something is a little harder unless you set up some kind of pay per view or download site but i think you need to have some movies before you can launch such a site because a site with only a few movies wont be popular. And you need to have good content protection so people can't steal your movies to place online for free.

like I said earlier. I do not produce content. I am a programmer and I run a few free sites. With programming being my primary and the sites just being stuff I play with, Oh, I also collect domains ;p

With that said;

You can sell your content several ways. You could set up your own content store like at http://voodoocontent.com/ or http://adultlabs.com/.

You can partner up with a content broker who would sell the content for you and you both split the sale. I?m not sure at the moment who the big content brokers are these days. I have used http://www.web-legal.com in the past, don?t know if they are still around.

You can sell your content directly using something like http://clips4sale.com/, some folks claim they make pretty good bank on that.

Or you could try to do your own paysite. I have not built a paysite so I don?t know all the issues involved. However I think that is the hardest of all these to pull off successfully. I am not sure that everyone in the biz would agree with me on that one. There are people that did paysites before they did anything else and made it.

You can also do combinations of those. You can sell the content through a store while also selling it on something like clips4sale while also having your own pay/membership site.

Adding this on, or you can also just make the content and then sell it on the boards. I have bought stuff directly from Dean just from thread posts in the past.

Research out some more. Decide what direction(s) you are going to attempt to go, put together a plan and do it

@fullporno - Thanks for that info! Basically I am just aiming to produce short clips, nothing long at all. Im going to play around with it a little. Im going to produce a few short clips first, see how the return is on those then proceed with more clips, naturally.

Also, How much am I suppose to sell my content for? How much am I suppose to pay a Male/Female actor? Indians seem so hard to get so Im assuming Im gonna have to pay them more? LAST BUT NOT LEAST, which is a good way to approach actors?

Like I said, I am not in the content biz so I can't give you much more than I have but a lot of it is just like any other product. If you sell exclusive content, it sells for more than non-exclusive. There is also semi-exclusive (limited number of licenses).

I know nothing about recruiting models or paying them. For that I think you should probably ask producers what the going rates are. It will depend a lot on where you are shooting.

A: You surely need to to content seller as there are too many available in market on which you can trust, some names are already mentioned in this thread. Web-Legal and Clip4sale are very good area for these.

A: Yes, when we shoot indian girls in UK, first we ask about her virginity and than ID. We ask to sign contract + 2257 Doc and Consent Form. This is for our protection for any legal afterward.

A: I think entertainment better take advice direct from some content seller if you know some one or ask at GFY.

Do you have some kind of web portal where Indian girls post their ads or do you just have mad connections?

@gmith - Yes based in London and hired one part time Indian girl for data dumping when starting 247mg.com, she also work in catering so i talk to her if she can bring girl for shoot and we will give good amount of money to them and comission to her so she did job for us and bring lots of Indian girls, mostly students looking for quick money to send back home for loans and other stuff...... this is what our story.... you cant find indian girl on portals for adult shoot.

Think from Indian mentality. Only girl can talk to other girls openly in Indian culture and give confidence ;) and ask for these thing. If like me or you talk to normal indian girl she will gonna slap you hard LOL

Glamour Modelling is the right word to use. Hire a student indian girl work with her for few days and be friendly. All indian student specially girls desperate for money becuase of a reason when they apply for UK or USA or even Autralian student visa they took heavy loans from bank for all expenses and when they arrive in countries they hardly got job and even if they got job, they wont be earning enough to pay back loan back home so..... you need to play games gmith and beleive me you will be lucky and remember me when you got your first one... even the indian girl you got looks ugly to you, just say oh wow gorgeous, just shoot and start.... Indian fans like to see Indian girl with Indian men....

Hi,
As a fellow content producer, I would suggest hiring a web developer and sell your content first hand. I say this because if you have the capitol to set up your own channel of distribution, then there is no need to deal with a third party who will also take a fraction of your revenues. Given that you have the money, hire a web dev and an SEO guy (Your going to need a butt-load of traffic, between ~200-3000 unique visitors to make a single sale) before anything, then focus on gathering content. Depending on whether or not you are making hardcore of softcore, you should check out modelmayhem.com for talent as many are willing to pose nude and a few will do more(Personally, I have found a good number of models throught this outlet). Also, since I'm sure you have some sort of background in business, it always helps to create a "Feasibility Analysis" before starting any business venture. Lastly I would suggest gathering a large amount of patients, because as many other threads suggest, these things take time - Don't expect to make a profit for AT LEAST 6 months - 2 years.

None, but I am not searching for any either. It really depends on the demographic of where you are looking. I reside in the southwest, so it isn't particularly diverse, but somewhere like California, where the OP lives, which has a large ethnically diverse population would render different results. I'm not saying it's the best option, but it would be worth checking out.
