Question about Blogging

Hi,

on january 1st i started with a new layout of my website. People here advised me to blog. It hasn't been easy because english is a foreign language for me but i think i am getting there.

A few months ago i heard of mbposter.com. You can get a monthly subscription for 39,99 and post up to 20 blogposts.

Has anyone had any experience with mbposter? Will that be 39,99 well spend or should i invest it somewhere else?

I am working on SEO so that should pick up at some point but i am still looking for good trades. So if you are interested....

Your site looks great, you could easily implement a Wordpress blog and save yourself the money.

Sorry, I think I misunderstood what you were looking for. I didn't mean replace the CMS, I just meant that if you wanted a standalone blog of your own, you could still implement one in addition to your regular CMS.

I think what you were referring to though, and what people were advising you to do was "blog" on other sites like tumblr, sex.com, etc to get linkbacks to your site. They have huge built in audiences already and are decent places to get a bit of traffic from.

If you look at the list of sites that MBposter posts to in their demo video - they are really shitty. I don't understand why anyone would visit those "blogs" as they appear to just be thrown together and don't really seem to be serious about providing quality content for their viewers. You'd basically just be paying someone $40 a month for the hell of it.

I'd wager that you would get more traffic from tumblr and sex.com for free than you would from that service.

It looks like you are going in the right direction in general though. Just keep at it.

I wrote a post, and I can't delete it now. MB Poster might be a good idea. I am not sure if I would spend money on that though. People say that it is better to stay from anything "black hat" these days. Another option is spending this money elswhere, for example for a domain name / names, some cheap plan at Hostgator (or somewhere else), and installing Wordpress Multisite. A lot of people use it. In my opinion there is no need to reinvent the wheel, and use something else.
