image sitemap not being indexed
Hey do you know why my images are not being indexed by google?
I use a WP plugin called "XML Sitemap for Images" and have submitted it to google webmaster tools. I dont see any errors. I see the web portion of my image sitemap being indexed and my image portion as being submitted but not indexed. In the column where it should say how many where indexed it shows - I've attached a screenshot glamcorepics.com/wp-content/glamcorepics.jpg Anyone got any ideas? |

I see one module available for my CMS that does this. I do not use a sitemap for my images, and I get high placement for my images on google images. Maybe you shouldn't bother with it.

You could be having trouble indexing your photos for a number of reasons. The most common reasons are not naming your filenames or alt tags descriptively enough.
I took a look at your site and noticed that many of your images don't include keywords in the filenames, which could explain your lack of image traffic. For example: decides-to-go-for-a-skinny-dip-180x245.jpg white-coat-180x245.jpg my-magic-wand-180x245.jpg These are not likely to get picked up by any common keywords a surfer would type in. I noticed the same problem with many of your alt tags, they either don't contain commonly searched for keywords or they bury them at the end like this one: "My Magic Wand WowGirls teen masturbation dildo blonde" I'm sure you'll see far better results if you updated your pics to something like... blonde-teen-masturbating-180x245.jpg and "Blonde teen masturbating with pink dildo" Also, I saw that you're using title attributes in your href and img tags. Google has been ignoring these as a ranking factor for quite a long time now, so at best they're doing nothing and at worst they could be counting against you for over-optimization.

I've updated my image alt tags to only show my posts tags. Should make it much shorter essentially, model name + sponsor name
Adrian, so you think its a good idea to remove completely my image title attributes? |

Yeah title attributes are totally ignored by all major search engines.

I wouldn't rush to delete your title attributes - they are used by your visitors' browsers to generate tooltips. These tooltips can help with clickthroughs if you label them properly.
