How do you see the Christmas-New Years Eve period in terms of new sales?

I honestly see sales getting up these days, but I am curious to know also other opinions.
Is this period good for sales? Or vacation time comes together with low sales time?
How do you see this?

Yeah , holidays don't seem to affect us . Thanksgiving this year we did pretty well in sales that day, slightly up compared to an average day

Traffic is only decreasing in some hours, when family is together, but that doesn't affect sales.
