				avoid dedicated server downtimes

			Hi guys,

When I?ve purchased a dedicated server in the past and it gets down, the hosting companies don?t put it online until I open a ticket. It looks like it is more important for them to keep fingering their asshole than getting my server back online. I have seen server monitoring services but at times it may be useless. What if I?m fucking 2 lesbians with hairy assholes? I may not be able to interrupt my fantasy only to notify a motherfucking hosting company that my server is down ? something I consider they should be keeping an eye on. How do you guys ensure your dedicated server is always up? |

I don't have a dedicated server, but one of my criterias is that there is very little down time in the first place.

I would just go with a vps, you have full control and never goes down. Well not most of the time. And yes pingdom is a good one to have.

the key is WHY your server is crashing...

it could be hardware failiure (memory or hdd problems) or it could be that it's not optimized well.. once you find what the problem is and solve that - you'll be good!

If the server is managed, it will be the provider's duty to figure out why the server crashed and fix it so that it does not repeat over and over again.

What hosting company were you with? They are definitely the best over some shitty shared host.

Use my host. They keep tabs on this kind of thing. And their servers don't go down. They have their own Linux they put together that is very stable.

I use Cyberwurx. I have been in the adult business for over a decade. In that amount of time I have used all of the big guys, the little guys and the mainstream guys. My favorite hosting company is Cyberwurx. The have extremely helpful customer support. They work weekends and holidays. Ticket times are in minutes, not hours. They have their own unique panel system and handle pretty much everything for you including creating domains and removing them. You can get VPS with multiple IPs! I have both dedicated and VPS servers with them. My VPS is never overloaded. It never gets rebooted. It is so much different than Host Gator where you are nobody. Here you are treated with respect no matter what system you are on. My top reasons for sticking with them: Multiple IPs so cheap! 24/7/365 customer service. Competent techs who get software to work on my dedicated server that nobody else could get to play friendly.
