Web 2.0s and all contextual link building works IF you use RELEVANT and ORGINAL content. Web 2.0s are some of the most authoritative domains on the internet and provide mass link juice if the content is good. Using spun content is garbage SEO and will yield garbage results. I have ranked keywords over 100,000 searches a month using just web 2.0s.
