Does anyone know how twitter accounts like @tweetmycam and @cammodelsreview tweet out that camgirls are online? Is it a script or do they do it manually? I'd love to set up something similar to tweet my whitelabel links, but I don't even know what is possible at this time. Thanks!

Hi Todd, yes this method seems to be used by quite a few whitelabels. It would be impossible to do manually of course, so I am really wanting a script or twitter app that will allow do this automatically. I have also searched the web for months on this one.

The information provided by streamate is minimal. We contacted their support and they do not support such things.

I just want to tweet everytime a girl goes live. Maybe even better having an RSS Feed from the XML data that they provide, but I know nothing about the HTTP post method which streamate say you need to use to pull live info. I've managed to pull the data to a php webpage, but not into an RSS feed format.

Any programmers out there who would be interested in giving me a quote for this? ie xml data into rss feed?

Reading the xml file and using the data to trigger tweets through the twitter api is not too hard to pull off.

As far as converting xml to rss, RSS is a form of xml. It would be fairly easy to read in a camsite's xml and put out a valid rss feed.

I am not sure off the top of my head how long it would take but I would probably charge in the $300-$500 range to do something custom on that. It would be a pretty barebones implementation though. If you wanted a complete admin panel and such it would probably be more.

I am expensive though and you could probably get it done more economically. I also will not be held to an off the top of my head estimate. I would want to look at it a little deeper to see what you really wanted to do before we finalized any kind of price..

It would be an excellent project for a beginner coder to learn handling xml in php and using the twitter api or it might make a good group project if someone was wanting to go that way.
