newb question regarding mobile vs desktop aff links

I am new at this so dumb questions may be asked...
I have an adult affiliate site I have been playing around with for a couple of months. My traffic is 66% mobile with my top5 countries being US 39%, UK 12%, Saudi Arabia 5%, Australia 4.7% and Mexico 4.2%. Desktop traffic is 29% and tablet is 5%. Nearly all of my traffic is driven by social media (twitter mostly).

Question 1: Some of the sites I work with offer mobile and desktop versions of their affiliate links. Right now I am just using the mobile version... herein lies the rub... if a mobile user visits the site, they get the correct mobile affiliate link (some links are niche specific) but if a desktop user visits the site, they can still click on mobile link but is redirected to the standard affiliate link for the site and not a niche specific link to the site, thus potentially redirecting them to a part of the site they were not originally interested in... should I be coding to redirect desktop users to the desktop affiliate link or since the majority of my traffic is mobile just let the desktop users ride the redirection roulette wheel??

Desktops sometimes pay out double what mobile conversions pay(on PPS/PPL signups anyway) and I would hate to lose a desktop conversion because the user wasn't sent where they thought they were going. Maybe I'm worrying about nothing. I don't know.

Question 2: If I should be coding for desktop as well, what is the easiest way to do this? I have a simple wordpress site. It may not be possible... and that's ok. I've looked around at some of the redirect plugins on wordpress but so far haven't found one that does what I want it to do... read the browser type and use the appropriate affiliate link.

Any help would be appreciated and I'll show you my tits for payment in kind. :
