Advertising in the age of universal AdBlockers...

It's been coming for a long time...

Google warns 700 publishers digital ads will be blocked by new Chrome Update

Third-party AdBlockers have been skyrocketing in popularity every year. But now Chrome is going to implement their own on-by-default, built-in AdBlocker.

How much will this effect you and your business model?
Are you relying on ad networks: PlugRush, JuicyAds, etc?
What about other display ads?
If those revenues were slashed by 85% or more, how would that effect you?

I ask these seemingly condescending questions because I think some of us have underestimated the coming cataclysm.
A default AdBlocker in Chrome will expose (and educate) untold millions of people -- who've never even thought about blocking ads before -- to a world without ads.

And once they experience it... they're never coming back.

So what are you doing to prepare, adapt, survive?

Many networks will not survive Google's update and many publishers that live on pop ads will also have to make some hard choices.

Serve your own ad images locally, make you own tools from feeds -- the links out are not blocked ...
Follow Google god's new guidelines of you will suffer.
Hope your sponsor is not ripping you off
