Cancellation within "3 days" means what, normally?
The "free" sign ups or $1-$3 signups which require cancellation within 3 days in order to not re-bill - is that exactly 72 hours from the time of signup? Or is there some special other way these "3 days" are normally measured?

It really depends on which company you're working with. I would recommend that you get in touch with the specific company's billing department in order to find out for sure, just to be on the safe side.
