Is the recession finally biting into the adult industry?

Seems like it is. Nowadays, the competition is stiff, wallets are tight, and people would rather put food on their table rather than to to try and start a business on adult sites. Am I misguided, or is this is the norm?

I don't know what is happening to the adult industry as a whole.
My particular part of the market is doing fine.

It seems that nowadays you need to give your customers something for next to nothing in my opinion, unlike before the recession people wouldnt think twice about paying £20 for a months membership to a site on the credit card
