Getting Members

Ok, here is something that is stumping me.

I have a site Erotic Skins, http://www.eroticskins.com. This is a free site and has been up for about 2.5 = 3 years.

I have been successful with fair traffic, I have been down for a year and I still have fair traffic.

Here is my problem.

I created a membership script and I am beta testing on this site. (Yes, I know.... ASP what the hell was I thinking). Even though the site is still free, I am not getting people to sign up. I get people in and then right out after they find out that they have to give out their info.

Can I please get some feedback (please be kind) about what I am doing wrong or how to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance.
