I got on a roofing crew.
No experience needed.
I got on the roof and tore off the old shingles with a shovel and removed the nails.
Then got on the ground and picked up all the shingles and put them in a dump trunk.
They always paid in cash.
It was hard as fuck; but I did it a year after of being in the hospital with congested heart failure.
It sucked; but all the hard sweaty work built my heart back up and that's the only reason I'm still alive.
