I think the Xbox is better for sports games - but PS3 for everything else.

As for having to pay for XBL Gold just to use your Netflix, that's not a fair gripe since that is really just an add-on to the Xbox features that you're really paying for. A bonus so to speak.

Not if you don't have any interest in those other features. As I said on the PS3 it's FREE. No reason why Netflix can't be part of free XBL

I guess I think that way because I've paid for XBL Gold for a long time and it didn't have Netflix or ESPN 3 or whatever else they have now so for me it's a feature they've added to what I was already paying for without charging me more. That is until they recently raised the price :winkwink:

Then there's the business reason of putting it inside the paid subscription side and I shouldn't have to explain that to you.

Not sure about Nintendo, but I know a Microsoft rep said the 360 is only about half way through its life cycle and they don't plan on a new system until at least 2015.

I have PS3 and Xbox (sold the Wii after novelty wore off).

If it is for kids, get the xBox. For adults, get the PS3.
